R&D and TechDev Funding Calls Open for 2024

The Instruct-ERIC R&D Funding Call for 2024 is now open. Early career researchers are invited to submit proposals to access Instruct technology, equipment, and expertise from our 27 facilities across Europe for small scale pilot research projects in integrated structural biology. This call is open to all topics within integrated structural biology and offers funding of up to a maximum of €15,000 per project. The call will close 15 March 2024, so submit your application soon.

Call for nominations - PhD Thesis Award in Structural Biology 2023

The Czech Society for Structural Biology has opened a call for nominations for the best PhD thesis in the field of structural biology in 2023. Deadline for submitting application is January 8, 2024. The prize is connected with a monetary reward.

The submitted work must fulfill these conditions:

• The thesis was successfully defended in the period 1/1/2023 – 31/12/2023 at a Czech or Slovak university.
• The field of research was structural biology or a directly related one.
• Structural studies of biological molecules formed an essential part of the thesis and were carried out by the author.
• Language of submitted work: Czech, English, Slovak.
