The Structure Meets Function webinar series is back, and this month we have a very special guest speaker. The latest webinar in the series will feature Markus Weingarth, author and lead on the spectacular new paper "Teixobactin kills bacteria by a two-pronged attack on the cell envelope" (Shukla et al, 2022).
The webinar will take place on 6 September 2022 from 11:00 to 12:00 CET.

Abstract: The group of Markus Weingarth studies the mode of action of membrane-active antibiotics on several length scales (micrometre to angstrom) using solid-state NMR as core technique. This talk will focus on the recent discovery of the supramolecular killing mechanism of the antibiotic teixobactin (Shukla et al., Nature, 2022).
