The CIISB facilities at IBT have been undergoing the following organizational changes.
WHEN: 30th May to 2nd June 2023
WHERE: Computer classroom 1.18, Building C04, National Centre for Biomolecular Research, University Campus Bohunice
Program
The event will be split into modules covering specific topics, such as protein prediction employing AlphaFold, CollabFold, OmegaFold, ESMFold, and AlphaPulldown software. The length of the course will depend on the skills of the participants. Each module will start with a short theoretical introduction, followed by step-by-step tutorials, with breaks to complete calculations. Thus, the workshop should be considered rather as a sparse event. Nevertheless, for the duration of the workshop, dedicated computational resources will be provided to the participants, together with remote access to the classroom computers from the web browser.
Registration
Registration for the workshop is open for employees and students of Masaryk University. Due to the limited number of seats in the computer room, the workshop capacity is limited to 22 participants. The workshop targets users with basic working experience in a Linux environment. However, everyone can register to indicate their interest in other approaches, such as web services. Please indicate this properly in the registration form. Depending on the interest, we might open another session dedicated to these approaches.
The registration will close at 11:59 PM on 22nd May.
The next day we will announce the final list of participants.
