First 2-day workshop will be focused on Differential scanning calorimetry and will be held on Oct 3-4, 2017. The main speaker and tutor during practical part will be Peter Gimeson from Malvern Instruments who is an expert in field of calorimetry.

New PEAQ-DSC machine will be present during whole workshop. Two other speakers will present two new Malvern instruments - VISCOSIZER and OMNISEC (there will be a demonstration of these isntruments during workshop). Theoretical part (first day) will be limited only by the number of seats in the room.

Practical part will be limited to 12 persons (6 persons per instrument - VP-DSC and PEAQ-DSC)

Preliminary programme:

1^st day – lectures, experiment set-up
2^nd day – data evaluation
