XVII Discussions in Structural Biology and 4th Users Meeting of CIISB

The XVII Discussions in Structural Molecular Biology and the 4th User Meeting of CIISB will be held in Nove Hrady, South Bohemia, on 19 - 21 March 2020.

Registration is now open. You can register at http://cssb.structbio.org/registration-xvii-discussions-form-1. You can also submit abstract at http://cssb.structbio.org/registration-xvii-discussions-form-2.

Contributions in the form of short talk (20 min including discussion), long talk (30 min including discussion) or poster are invited.

Student competition

The Czech Society for Structural Biology invites all student presentations at the XVII Discussions in Structural Molecular Biology and 4th User Meeting of CIISB to compete in two categories:
  • Prize of the Czech Society for Structural Biology for an outstanding student poster
  • Prize of the Czech Society for Structural Biology for an outstanding student presentation
The competing author must be a student (undergraduate or post-graduate studies) or a fresh PhD (less than one year from the defense of PhD thesis) at the time of the Discussions.A maximum of three prizes will be awarded in each category at the end of the Conference. Each prize includes one book related to structural biology or molecular biology selected by the winner.

The event is organized by the Czech Society for Structural Biology, the Czech Infrastructure for Integrative Structural Biology, and the Institute of Biotechnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences.

Conference fees

Student 2400 CZK (1600 without accommodation)
Non-student 3600 CZK (2800 without accommodation)
single occupancy accommodation - add 800 CZK
Members of CSSB will have the personal fee (300 CZK) subtracted from the paid amount
